Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer - Salesforce, at DISH you must be a natural problem solver, you think the best answer is the simplest and most elegant. You'll work within an agile delivery team and use your skills to create and customize applications on the Lightning platform.

Responsibilities will vary, but ultimately include:
  • Development of on-platform solutions and integrations to external systems
  • Develop and deploy business-logic and user interfaces on the Lightning platform
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications leveraging the Saleforce platform
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Supporting delivery of Salesforce implementations
  • Remediate defects and provide operational support for business-critical Salesforce applications.
  • Monitor and ensure the performance, security, and reliability of Salesforce applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize business disruption.
  • Work closely with other software engineers, product owners, product managers, UX/UI designers, and architects to build and enhance Salesforce applications.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.
  • Manage and execute end-to-end project tasks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Document technical solutions and provide training and support to end-users.
  • Work with embedded testers to build and execute automated testing processes
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering or related technical field or equivalent education, experience, skill


Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of Salesforce development and/or administration experience
  • Foundational experience with multiple Salesforce cloud solutions, primarily focused on Sales and Service Cloud and Experience Cloud/Communities
  • Strong proficiency in Apex and Lightning web components
  • Active Salesforce certifications (PDI/PDII)
  • Experience with SalesforceDX and automated deployment processes
  • Experience with Flows and process builders
  • Web service development and integration experience
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent Analytical and problem solving skills


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Telecom sector


Salary Ranges

Compensation: $133,700.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
