Job Duties and Responsibilities

Are you looking to grow your career as a Staff Technical Product Manager in the Denver area, working with a company that constantly disrupts their industry? Our team gets to deliver creative solutions for our new Wireless venture! We're looking for talented, driven, passionate Product Managers to join the Dish family and drive our business forward through delivering world class products to our customers, partners, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the strategy, roadmap, positioning, and go to market success for one or more external vendors
  • Experience with feature delivery, change management, roadmap strategy and definition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across product, design and engineering to align on external deliverables
  • Responsible and accountable for outcomes achieved by deliverables
  • Investigate technologies (internal and external) and evaluate them for their potential to solve market problems
  • Work with stakeholders to capture business requirements
  • Actively manage product value, usability, feasibility, and business risks
  • Measure the effectiveness of product releases post-launch and iterate on product outcomes
  • Use a prioritization framework for discovery of backlog features
  • Identify product dependencies and negotiate their prioritization and mitigation with other teams
  • Build alignment to the product team vision throughout the organization using presentations and roadmaps, and align the roadmap to strategic initiatives and metrics in collaboration with internal business partners
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • BA/BS in a technical or business discipline (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, business administration, or accounting)
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Systems Analyst
  • Agile Certified Product Manager Product Owner (ACPMPO) preferred
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred
  • SAFe Product Manager / Product Owner (SPMPO) preferred

  • A successful Product Manager is smart, creative, persistent, and high-energy
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, market trends, and technical concepts, and evaluate new ideas
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, product management skills, along with great communication and collaboration skills
  • Displays strong initiative for anticipating and meeting customer and business demands, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced and uncertain environment, a high level of intellectual curiosity, and a focus on taking ownership and initiative
  • Move between the strategic 30,000 ft-view and tactical activity levels on a daily basis, focusing on the high level and product details simultaneously Analyst, Project Manager, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivation with strong, proven, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources and work well in a distributed environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience using Agile processes and methodologies
  • Ability to plan for future work while maintaining the current delivery with rapidly changing priorities
  • Rally / CA Agile Central / JIRA/Atlassian experience a plus
  • Billing, Payments, Credit Eligibility, and Loan Agreements knowledge/experience a plus
  • Experience with Amazon Cloud, working with APIs: synchronous vs async, parallel processing, working with collections and retry logic a bonus
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
