Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Wireless is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to deploy, maintain, and manage our network infrastructure. You'll work with diverse technologies like Cisco SDNC suite, AWS, VMware, and databases. Responsibilities include system deployment, administration, testing, and ensuring network reliability.

Key Responsbilitites:

In this role, you will:
  • Deploy and manage Cisco SDNC suite (CNC, Vitria, Matrix, TAF)
  • Manage AWS infrastructure for network and services
  • Administer VMware virtualization environments
  • Develop and execute tests in TAF
  • Utilize Linux and VMware expertise for system operations
  • Troubleshoot databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Mongo, and Redis
  • Leverage Cisco SDNC suite experience for system deployment
  • Apply networking knowledge for seamless infrastructure communication

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Senior System Administrator, you will have:

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven system engineering and administration experience
  • 5+ years experience with AWS services, Linux, VMware, and database management
  • Solid networking knowledge and 5+ years of Cisco SDNC suite experience
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability to new technologies
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $145,125.00/Year

The base pay range provided is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies. Compensation is also based on the role's location and may change depending on the work location. Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check. The posting will be active for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to extend by 3 days until the position is filled.
