Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare entries to accounts (GL and Subledger) documenting business transactions
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Develop solutions to capture financial data for unique business transactions
- Support EchoStar/Dish merger integration, and help create and support intercompany accounting processes/treatments
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve the process
- Prepare financial results and reports (monthly and quarterly) for leadership
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA, or Master's degree a plus (Finance and related fields may be considered)
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced accounting environment, preferably in a technology business
Skills and Qualifications:
- A working knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, procedures, and standards (journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis)
- Demonstrated aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and ability to synthesize data into concise analysis
- Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle Financials or equivalent)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written presentation skills; an ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable, clear, and effective communications
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
