Job Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead analysis efforts into payment performance and customer experience enhancements, identifying areas for improvement and process automation
  • Drive prioritization planning and implementation of new functions and projects to ensure a positive customer experience and a productive team dynamic
  • Execute all customer or partner payment release related activities for the organization from a Billing and Credit department perspective
  • Evaluate business opportunities to determine and implement initiatives to business needs and departmental goals
  • Influence cross-functional teams, including executive level, with effective communication around project goals and team needs to ensure B&C is able to successfully implement new processes & functionalities
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities to better the payment experience, by continually optimizing at each stage of the payment lifecycle
  • Serve as POC & SME for internal and external partners for payment functions and responsibilities
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and fully understand processes and their impact on the overall business; analyze, identify, and implement potential process and systems enhancements to create efficiencies and reduce resource allocation for routine tasks, procedures, and reports; assist in the completion of projects and use discretion to determine the methods to meet established goals
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics, and 3+ years of related experience, or equivalent
    combination of education and experience


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision while producing results towards operational goals
  • A plus if you have experience with Card and/or EFT payment acceptance from a Merchant or Service Provider perspective
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and work with Pivot Tables, SUMIF, VLOOKUP functions, and exposure to Macros
  • Experience with SQL, or demonstrated ability to successfully communicate with and work alongside technical teams (Data Analysts, Front and Back-end Developers, API Architects, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common metrics used to measure and monitor operational performance, define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide clear and concise communication with a wide audience of internal departments

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
