The Senior IT Manager (IT-PMO) is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across the organization. This role involves managing project portfolios, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and leading a team of IT professionals to ensure project success. The Senior IT Manager will collaborate with key stakeholders, implement project management best practices, manage risks, resources, and budgets, and drive continuous improvement in IT processes. This position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT governance and project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning, implementation, and management of IT Wireless Technology projects.
  • Define program scope, goals, deliverables, and develop comprehensive plans with IT and business teams.
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and program staff, facilitating meetings and progress updates.
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks, maintaining and updating the program RAID log.
  • Report on program progress, manage changes, and ensure successful achievement of program outputs.
  • Conduct evaluations and assess results throughout and after project deployment.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or related degree preferred
  • 7+ years of Program Management experience - preferably in the delivery of IT Wireless System Solutions or IT Telecommunication Solutions
  • Previous experience managing a team of program managers
  • PMP certification and Advanced Degree preferred


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills for interacting with IT teams, business partners, and senior executives.
  • Expertise in program management principles, Agile methodologies, SDLC, and vendor management (SOWs, RFPs, contracts).
  • Proven skills in people management, strategic planning, risk, and change management.
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Hive, Microsoft Project, and GSuite.
  • Ability to consult, negotiate, and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders in complex environments.
  • Skilled in translating strategic opportunities into technical requirements and managing customer expectations during delivery.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year
