Job Duties and Responsibilities

This critical position is responsible for the calculation and analysis of subscriber data utilized for daily and monthly reporting, SEC filings (10K and 10Q) and internal business partners. The position has Executive-level visibility and provides information that drives business solutions. The candidate will be highly collaborative with internal business partners to proactively draw attention to and resolve subscriber count discrepancies to ensure accurate information is disseminated. Because of this, the role requires the ability to understand a variety of business units' processes and end goals. The ability to work with large volumes of data without sacrificing accuracy is essential. Due to the fast-paced, ever-changing business environment, this role requires flexibility and innovative approaches to completing the work product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize source documentation generated from multiple billing engines and in-place systems to ensure accurate subscriber count extraction while meeting assigned deadlines
  • Detailed analysis of subscriber count information
  • Work closely with business partners to ensure subscriber counts are aligned and business changes are accurately reflected in subscriber data
  • Partner with various groups to include Accounting, Finance, and DISH IT to develop subscriber reporting that accurately reflects subscriber counts
  • Review and update current systems and tools to ensure a robust and repeatable process for extracting subscriber data is in place
  • Aid in the audit and maintenance of financial subscriber reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls
  • Ad-hoc reporting as needed by the business
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree; plus two years of relevant experience is preferred
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Executive presence: The ability to concisely and cogently deliver relevant subscriber information to Executive-level decision makers
  • The ability to build and maintain business relationships to ensure EchoStar business goals are met
  • Strong Excel and Access skills with proficiency working with database query tools, in addition to Google Suite
  • Ability to learn quickly, prioritize and work under pressure, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
  • An inquisitive mindset and a willingness to question the status quo are desirable attributes

  • High energy, positive attitude, detail oriented and the desire to learn

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
