Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with PO and design/develop Restful Services, product configuration, data analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Provide technical expertise in the Retail Wireless area.
- Understand business needs and product offerings to design and build solutions for the retail wireless core team.
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Successfully handle the daily challenges of the technical environment and resolve the technical issues
- Perform code review
- Implement CI/CD pipelines
- Handle release deployments and production issues
- Engineering degree with 4 to 8 years of experience in application development using Java/ J2EE technologies.
- Strong in Java, Spring/ Spring Boot, Linux
- Experience in designing and developing REST based services / MicroService development
- Exposure to AWS( Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, API gateway), CI/CD, DevOps
- Experience using container management tools such as Kubernetes and Docker is preferred
- Strong knowledge on databases like Mongo Db, PostgreSQL and CouchBase.
- Strong knowledge in messaging systems like Kafka.
- Experience with delivering projects in an agile environment using SCRUM/XP methodologies.
- Candidate should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to work independently without much guidance
- Exposure on swagger API design and implementation
- Exposure on REST API Tools like Postman, Soapui and Ready API.
- Exposure on Artifactory repository tools like JFrog and Nexus.
- Exposure to vulnerability scan tools like Snyk, SonarQube.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Candidate should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to work independently without much guidance
- Exposure to Telecom OSS or BSS will be an added advantage.
