Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Manager will be located in the market and responsible for coordination with subcontractors for the buildout of that market area. The Senior Construction Project Manager will work with the radio frequency team, site acquisition, zoning, and operations to ensure that the best possible sites are being built to meet the company's cost, quality, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategy for award of construction vendors that contemplates cost, crew availability, quality of work product, etc.
  • Accurately forecast construction tasks to ensure timely downstream delivery
  • Work cross-functionally across various workgroups and functions to ensure timely and efficient construction deliverables (Site Acq., Construction, RF, Transport, Regulatory, Procurement, etc)
  • Coordinate hand construction activities including site walks and inventory coordination
  • Ensure permits are closed out correctly
  • Ensure that power deliveries are synchronized with construction activities
  • Review and redline zoning drawings and construction drawings, as required
  • Approve tasks as they are completed in NexsysOne, ensure processing of POs, invoices, and ensures adherence to specified scope of work, and issue purchase orders and change orders as contracted
  • Report project status and performance data to management
  • Maximize cost efficiency under the necessary scope on every assigned project and ensure their delivery under the settled budget
  • Serve as a functional expert/lead for less experienced Construction
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of wireless construction management experience
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A successful track record of construction projects (on time, within budget)
  • An adventurous spirit; flexible, innovative, and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks in extreme time-critical settings
  • Results-focused management using energetic and positive communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management, staff, and vendors
  • An affinity for analytics, acute attention to detail, and decisive in nature
  • Experience working with fiber and power companies, with an understanding of scheduling walks and dealing with meter sets
  • Previous experience being part of a carrier buildout team
  • Solid comprehension of microwave in a wireless environment
  • Mastery of wireless construction management principles
  • Proficiency in wireless site acquisition management principles
  • Knowledge of basic RF design concepts and wireless network performance
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to senior leadership
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,542.50/Year - $137,885.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
