We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to establish and lead the Quality Assurance (QA) program for Boost Mobile's Fraud Prevention manual review processes. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our fraud detection efforts by conducting audits, providing feedback, and driving process improvements. As the first QA hire for this function, you will be responsible for assisting in building the team from scratch and setting the foundation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute QA Audits: Conduct regular audits of manual reviews to ensure adherence to fraud prevention policies and standards
  • Analyze Data and Identify Trends: Review QA findings to detect patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations
  • Provide Constructive Feedback: Summarize audit results and deliver detailed feedback to manual review teams and leadership, promoting continuous improvement
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports on QA activities, audit results, and performance metrics, maintaining accurate records for ongoing analysis
  • Process Improvement and Collaboration: Work with leadership and cross-functional teams to refine fraud detection policies, tools, and workflows based on QA insights
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements, updating QA standards as needed
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, fraud prevention, or a related field
  • Previous experience developing or leading a QA program is highly preferred


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and recognize anomalies indicative of fraudulent activity
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences
  • Problem Solving: Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Experience with SQL and fraud detection tools (e.g., Cybersource, RAID) is a plus
  • Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high accuracy in audits and recommendations
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively
  • Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
