Job Duties and Responsibilities
You will take the lead to work with a highly motivated, cross functional team on defining, launching and managing commercial models for new products and services in our commercial product portfolio. You will be responsible for discovering value through a data driven approach, deeply understanding the competitive landscape in the US market, and business customers' economic drivers for demand for our products and services. You will produce supporting business cases and plans for delivering products to market. Thriving at the intersection of business and telecom, you are comfortable immersing yourself in the details on each end of the spectrum, with the end goal of creating value for customers, accompanied by a world class customer experience with the product.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
- Deeply understand the economics of market needs and competitive landscape, and how Echostar's product offering is positioned
- Set commercial product priorities and time to market objectives, through engagement with business stakeholders, substantiated by market and business data and an underlying commercial model
- Deliver business case for new products and their evolutions, through deep engagement with cross functional teams, including pricing strategy and product MSRP
- Through ruthless prioritization, help define the Minimum Viable Product, and remove or overcome the obstacles to on-time success
- Through the life cycle of the product, identify, articulate, and communicate opportunities for value proposition, differentiation, including validation of those through financial data collection and analytics
As a successful Principal Enterprise Product Analyst, you will have:
Education and Experience:
- A degree in engineering, or an MBA, or equivalent practical experience
- 10+ years of experience in product management or pricing approval with sales, in a wireless or internet services environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- A deep and proven understanding of the telecommunications industry, the US wireless market, including work experience at a network equipment or service provider
- A solid understanding of the US wireless market, the wireless carrier perspective, as well as wireless device software, and wireless carrier back end systems
- Strong foundation in product definition and validation methodologies, including financial modeling, pricing strategies, and commercial models

Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $208,725.00/Year
