Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- As a Sr Engineer - Oracle HCM, your main role is to configure/enhance the technology aspect of HR tools and technologies, with a specialized focus in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Collaborate closely with Oracle HCM Engineers, HRIS specialists, Integration specialists and People Analytics team to enable the delivery of HCM and technology solutions that can scale across the entire company ecosystem.
- Manage and deliver projects using agile ways of working, with a focus on efficiency, adaptability, and value delivery. Utilize tools like Jira for project management, ensuring project success through effective planning and execution.
- Support and work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment to understand HR process requirements and design/develop/implement/support solutions, ultimately helping the business to adopt and transform HR processes.
- Review quarterly patches and upgrades having new features within Oracle HCM and advising on best practices.
- Implement modules like Global HR, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, and overall system architecture/integrations, nurturing the next generation of HCM professionals.
- Develop Security Roles, HCM Extracts,BI Reporting, Fast Formulas, Approval Rules etc
- Help in migrating the responsive UI to Redwood UI
Skills & Experience
- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in configuring at least 2 modules of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM modules like Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Security, Talent Management, Learning and Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
- An individual with technical passion and awareness. Take pride in their product
- Successfully track record of at least 3 end-to-end implementations within all the HCM modules.
- Successful track record in building enterprise structures, workforce structures, employee self-service and manager self-service applications.
- Hands-on experience in Compensation modules like Base Pay, Grades, Automated grade progression, Individual compensation, Workforce Compensation and Total Compensation Statements.
- Technical expertise in writing Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, Alerts, Nudges
- Expertise in personalization and customization of our HCM systems by following industry best practices with the help of tools like Transaction design studio, Page Composer and Auto Complete rules.
- Should have experience in workflow configuration using BPM
- Working knowledge of HCM table structures, data flow, and overall application architecture, including integrations
- Hands-on experience with tools to load data into our HCM system like HCM Data Loader (HDL) and Spreadsheet Loader
- Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), and working familiarity with a variety of databases
- Expertise in various reporting tools like BI Publisher, OTBI and Fusion Analytics Warehouse
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a strong commitment to continuous learning, iteration, and innovation, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable with clear analytical, problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships, not only with our HR partners but with business partners as well
- Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing, high volume environment
- Ability to effectively communicate on complex issues with a high level of effectiveness
- Strong project management and organizational skills
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering discipline
- Certification in any 2 HCM modules would be an added advantage
- Any experience in Redwood UI would be an added advantage
