Job Duties and Responsibilities

An Operations Developer will possess a variety of technical and analytical skills. Familiarity with Cloud DataBase Systems (AWS preferred), coding (SQL, Python preferred), ability to troubleshoot workflow issues, test workflow upgrades, and determining/managing workflow improvement projects. More specifically, an Operations Developer will become acquainted with the database(s) and automation that establish and maintain the operations backstack.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Team Members, IT Support, Program Management, Traffic, IOPs, and other partners in the implementation of media projects, automation, and their ongoing support
  • Monitor performance of Media systems. Use AWS and other analytical tools to drive insight and maintenance of operation advertising systems
  • Suggest performance metrics to determine acceptable levels of quality, current performance, or improvement opportunities
  • Make recommendations on operational and troubleshooting procedures to keep the addressable system running smoothly
  • Assist in testing Media Tech system upgrades and new technologies. Help implement improvements and measure the success of system changes
  • Perform other duties as required
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • BA or BS degree and up to three years of related experience
  • four to five years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Understand data driven systems and their integration
  • Comprehend desired technical requirements and Media Tech infrastructure
  • Process improvement experience desired
  • Ability to determine areas that need improvement and implement a plan of action
  • Must be comfortable with aggressive schedules, and setting direction and priorities
  • High level of diplomacy
  • Familiarity with Cloud Base Systems (AWS preferred)
  • Back End Stack Development (Python, SQL preferred)
  • Linux OS, Bash, OS System Services, Networking, Package Management, Git (GitLab), Vi/Vim, OOP, Memory Management, Web App Frameworks, Concurrent Processing, Containers, Container Orchestration Systems, Google Suite

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
