Team responsibilities include ensuring the quality and reliability of both software and hardware within an engineering organization. This team is responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with hardware and software engineers to resolve issues. They test the integration of hardware and software components, validate functionality, and ensure system stability under various conditions. By thoroughly assessing each aspect of the product, the team helps deliver high-quality, dependable solutions that meet both performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of QA teams, ensuring they meet project goals and time-lines
  • Establish QA processes and strategies to deliver high-quality software and hardware projects
  • Act as the primary communication bridge between teams and QA resources, ensuring alignment on requirements and expectations
  • Monitor and track testing progress
  • Report on testing outcomes, often time speaking to executives, by outlining testing results
  • Optimize QA processes through comprehensive reports within the QA processes and implement initiatives to boost testing efficiency
  • Collaborate across teams by partnering with development, product and operations teams to ensure QA activities align
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • College degree in CS, information systems or related and 5+ years of related experience in software test or similar quality functions


Skills and Qualifications:
  • If no degree, demonstrated experience in similar roles and accomplishments
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and software testing life-cycles
  • Tool experience with Jira and other test management systems
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and hardware products
  • People management experience, annual performance reviews, set goals and development items and other manager functions (hiring, firing, performance management, etc.)

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year
