The Cloud Application Support Product Owner provides support, product management, training, and technical expertise throughout the organization for the team's portfolio of enterprise platform applications hosted in the cloud. This includes LumApps, Slack, HIVE, and others. This role also has growth opportunities within Google Workspace management. The successful candidate will be energetic, an excellent communicator, customer-focused, and able to understand how end-users work, empathizing with their expectations for the tools they use. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about connecting cloud services and applications with end-users, driven to deliver the best possible solutions, and eager to share their knowledge throughout the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides knowledge, training, and mentoring to all departments throughout the enterprise on various cloud application best practices and functionality.
  • Primary enterprise applications: ServiceNow, LumApps, HIVE, Smarty, LucidChart and LucidSpark, Slack, RAVE, and xMatters
  • Secondarily will work with others on the team to grow within Google Workspace as an administrator.
  • Provides project implementation assistance for all new cloud applications across DISH.
  • Provides top-tier troubleshooting for platform, application, and/or user training issues reported.
  • Builds relationships with internal departments, our Cloud Application Support team, and external vendors to ensure efficient use of all enterprise cloud applications.
  • Defines problem areas on various team, department, and enterprise levels and recommends changes needed to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Manages the vision for expanding application functionality through integrations and add-ons.
  • Manages product quality and implements appropriate corrective/preventive actions to achieve product readiness and improve product capabilities.
  • Develops reporting to monitor usage and prepares recommendations to increase usage based on data.
  • Creates project plans, task lists, and stories to continue cloud application growth across the enterprise.
  • And other duties as assigned by the manager.
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management
  • 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Application Administrator, Product Owner, Project Manager, Cloud Technical Administrator, or Cloud System Administrator


Skills and Qualifications:
  • The successful Product Owner must have:
    • BS/BA Degree - or equivalent relevant experience.
    • 2+ years of experience as a Cloud Application Administrator, Product Owner, Project Manager, Cloud Technical Administrator, or Cloud System Administrator.
    • Enthusiastic and dynamic presentation skills for training at all levels of the enterprise.
    • Expert-level knowledge of cloud applications or cloud administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good-to-know enterprise applications: Google Workspace, ServiceNow, XMatters, Rave, Virtru, Mimecast, AWS SES, Lucidchart.
  • Powershell, Python, Javascript, and/or Google AppScript
  • Active Directory (AD) experience.
  • Cloud application administration.
  • Project management experience.
  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management.
  • MS/MBA Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Application Administrator, Cloud Team Manager, or Cloud Project Manager.
  • Relevant enterprise application certifications such as Certified System Administrator in ServiceNow, or Google Workspace Administrator.
  • Certification in improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, TQM, or PMP.
  • Proven communication and influence skills - ability to work broadly across various groups to gain agreement on direction, mediate and integrate opinions into a cohesive strategy, and present options/recommendations.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,400.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year
