Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Wireless Software Test Engineers
- Plan, strategize, and execute all aspects of testing for wireless applications and services, ensuring comprehensive test coverage
- Use wireless application requirements to create effective test strategies
- Oversee the design, development, and execution of manual test cases for GUI, services (API), and database validation within the wireless domain
- Monitor and analyze test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement
- Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools within the wireless team
- Collaborate with development, product, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Manage defect tracking and resolution, working closely with developers to debug production incidents related to wireless systems
- Ensure data validation and integrity checks are performed, particularly for wireless data flows
- Collaborate effectively with a globally distributed team
- Report on testing progress, risks, and issues to management
- Other duties as required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science related field
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in software testing, with a significant focus on the wireless or telecommunications industry
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading software testing teams
- Hands-on experience with wireless systems and related technologies (e.g., POS systems, device activation, billing systems, network provisioning)
- Deep understanding of testing methodologies (functional, usability, end-to-end, regression testing)
- Experience with database testing and SQL
- Solid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High-energy, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with test management tools such as PractiTest, Jira, or a similar tool
- Ability to write, present information, and respond to questions from leadership, customers, and business partners
- Experience with mobile testing (iOS and/or Android) is a plus
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $137,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
