Job Duties and Responsibilities

Seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Video Designer ll to develop engaging video and e-learning materials. This role involves designing video graphics, titles, and music, and making editorial decisions to assemble clear, effective training content. The ideal candidate will have expertise in professional audio and video editing, post-production techniques, and a strong understanding of design principles that enhance learner experience and outcomes. Responsibilities include developing courses using Rise 360, Articulate Storyline, Google Suite, Adobe InDesign, and other tools. Strong collaboration skills and adaptability to feedback are essential for building effective relationships across teams and delivering impactful training solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design of video graphics, titles, music, and creative look of training videos; makes editorial decisions regarding assembly of information, illustrations, and content
  • Develops creative training materials with equal emphasis on design sensibility and learner experience and outcomes
  • Maintain video materials by revising/editing content to ensure a quality end product

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrates strong adaptability to change, with the ability to pivot quickly and make informed decisions without needing a complete picture; remains calm and focused in dynamic environments, managing ambiguity and uncertainty with ease; comfortable taking calculated risks and progressing on tasks without requiring all details to be finalized, ensuring continued momentum and effective decision-making
  • Prioritizes tasks effectively and manages time to maximize productivity; plans and organizes work in a way that minimizes distractions and ensures deadlines are met
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn new processes, tools, and approaches for improving training and team needs; is open to changing and improving established processes; wants to learn news tools to improve engagement, effectiveness, and visual appearance of trainings
  • Operating multimedia equipment (such as cameras, microphones, and lighting) and software to produce high-quality content; this also includes staying up-to-date with new technology and tools in the multimedia field
  • Proficient in filming, editing, and producing high-quality video content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and other video editing software; this includes managing all stages of production, from scripting and storyboarding to post-production editing and final delivery
  • Strong skills in graphic design and animation, utilizing software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects to create engaging visual elements, animations, and graphics that complement video content and enhance multimedia projects

Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
