Job Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a strategic, innovative Channel Strategy & Investment Planning, General Manager to oversee our media investment planning and strategies that drive profitability and incremental growth across our lines of business. You will manage a team that is responsible for leading our sales channel strategy, and work closely with cross-functional teams to identify offers and develop program extensions that will drive excitement among social partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual and quarterly strategy and investment planning sessions with our media agency
  • Manage media budget reallocation between sales channels and media partners in partnership with marketing operations and finance
  • Manage the business case process and quarterly business reviews to bring accountability to our marketing spend and unearth performance insights to share with the broader marketing team
  • Partner with the consumer insights team to find new strategic points that drive media & creative strategy for our sales channels
  • Partner with media tactic partner leads to ensure our investment is performing as best as it can be
  • Collaborate on our Media Mix Model (MMM) to identify strongest areas of incremental growth opportunities
  • Partner with analytics & finance teams to ensure all media investment data is being tracked and reported out on correctly to enable business strategy discussions
  • Leverage segmentation and marketing analytics to provide insights and deliver programs to maximize marketing return on investment
  • Effectively manage teams and projects with strong organizational and communication skills. Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multitask and handle tight deadlines on a daily basis
  • Oversee investment planning for overall media plan
Track financial performance of channels to help cross-organizationally drive efficiency

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field OR equivalent in direct experience, MBA is preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in executing paid marketing programs (social, search, display, online video, OOH, OTT/CTV, Linear), with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in managing marketing platforms and/agencies, with a proven record of successful MoM improvement in acquisitions and CPGA efficiencies
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills applied to building relationships, providing guidance, and resolving conflicts effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis to identify trends, optimize campaigns, and make informed decisions based on performance metrics.
  • Marketing and sales creativity applied to designing engaging content.
  • Proven ability to negotiate agreements.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow affiliate program for DTC brand.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of the retail wireless industry a plus.
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,110.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
