Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH is seeking a team member who exemplifies adventurous spirit and is ready to fully support the company's Washington, DC office as an executive assistant and office manager. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing the quality of work. The ideal candidate will also have a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, the ability to thrive in a team environment as the main administrative liaison, and skills to react with appropriate urgency and take effective action with limited data and precedent. Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively and independently schedule appointments and meetings of varying complexity
  • Arrange detailed travel plans and itineraries and compile documents for travel-related meetings
  • Compose and prepare correspondence, reports, and other complex documents
  • Anticipate the needs of executives and the team and act upon them accordingly
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information relating to travel, expenses, vendor relationships, disciplinary actions, pay rates, appraisal scores, and promotions
  • Collect, audit, and process expense reports
  • Regular and predictable attendance, as well as the ability to occasionally work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends, if needed
  • Attend multiple weekly meetings and take detailed notes and action items to promote team organization and progress
  • Execute onboarding and create SOPs as necessary to orient current and future team members
  • Coordinate access through the office by creating badges for visitors and employees, as well as coordinating in-person vendor meetings
  • Maintain communication with building management and other vendors pertaining to the office
  • Handle all team-wide needs to maintain office supply chains, liaise with IT, and keep the office in proper order and in good appearance
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or comparable experience and training
  • At least 5 years of prior executive assistant/office management experience is ideal
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Suite (including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook Calendaring)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and scheduling abilities
Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,623.00/Year - $103,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
