Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Data Analytics Engineer is responsible for building the Boost Mobile commercial data integrations and implementing the fully automated analytics modules catering to DISH business team needs and the analytics product offerings in the marketplace for Commercial customers. The engineer will focus on building the data pipelines, insights, KPIs, and metrics using the DISH Wireless data from BSS, OSS, NSS or external sources to business/partners/customers. This individual will play an active role in delivery and ensure alignment with the end-state architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Applies technical expertise to build Streaming Analytics solutions across Wireless
- Understand business needs and analytics product offerings to design and build data and analytics solutions on Kafka and Elastic stack
- Analyze business and technical requirements
- Quickly build prototypes to test out proof-of-concepts
- Address technical concerns, ideas, and suggestions
- Assist in solving technical problems when they arise
- Monitor systems to ensure they meet the partner, user, and business goals
- Deliver solutions, features using agile delivery methodologies
Education and Experience:
- 3+ years as a Data Analytics engineer in the real-time analytics and reporting for wireless and/or telecom space esp., in Sales, Marketing, Retention, Product, Revenue and Partner Management, etc.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with the development and delivery of secure, reliable, and scalable big data solutions using agile methodologies
- Expertise in building big data and streaming data analytics solutions using Kafka and Elasticsearch.
- Proficient in creating SQL and Python-based solutions with file feeds, Data-as-a-Service APIs, and BI tools like Kibana and Tableau.
- Experienced in data management, engineering, and cloud technologies (AWS).
- Skilled in delivering self-service analytics, insights, KPIs, and metrics.
- Familiar with building and maintaining data catalogs and dictionaries, and using scheduling tools like Control-M or Airflow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a deep desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Compensation: $83,160.00/Year - $110,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
