Job Description:

Responsible for definition, guidance, and execution of product-related activities for a particular portfolio through the entirety of product lifecycle, from strategy and roadmap definition to development and market readiness. Sets business objectives for the product development process and oversees execution, internal or external, as necessary. Supervises product managers and product owners. Works with minimal supervision.

Develops and coaches' teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

Responsibilities

  • Leads design, development, and implementation of new product strategy to support both domestic and international partners.
  • Grows existing product portfolio through new value-added features and functionality releases and enhanced customer experiences.
  • Provides vision and direction to a team of product managers and product owners and also keeps tab on the latest trends.
  • Closely liaises with internal stakeholders to deliver on shared goals and priorities.
  • Drive delivery via internal technology teams and vendors
  • Problem solver - this role will be responsible for a lot of problem solving

Minimum Qualifications

At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Financial Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • People management experience, or related field
  • Experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field
  • In lieu of a degree, experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions, or related field
  • Preferred experience working in the area of payments
  • Experience as a people leader
  • Understanding of payment transactions, trends in authentication and transaction security, 3DS, Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), PSD2, tokenization and wallets
  • Demonstrated ability of driving outcome in complex cross-functional environments, ability to commercialize payment tech products in a global environment
  • Consulting or client facing solution designing or delivery roles
