What You'll Do
- Coordinate activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, events, or conventions.
- Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

How You'll Do It
- Strategically align with internal business partners to determine objectives and requirements for events, such as meetings, conferences, and conventions.
- Review event bills for accuracy and approve payment.
- Coordinate services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing and event security.
- Arrange the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs.
- Provide onsite event management as required.
- Manage third party relationships as necessary.
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
- Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Business Administration and Management, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality or related
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality or related

Bonus Points If You Have
- 6+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality or related
- Experience managing corporate events with an emphasis on working with C-Level partners (internal and external)
- Global experience
- Strong project management/vendor management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while working as an inclusive member of a team
- Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners including third party vendors

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $77,500.00 to $131,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
