Manages all aspects of the project over its entire life including: the initiation, plan development, execution, controls, and implementation. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budgets, and meet business needs.

Reporting to the International Client Services Sr. Manager Project Management, the Partner Engagement & Strategic Initiatives Principal Project Manager is responsible for managing strategic initiatives to support Network Operations teams and enhance partner relationships. This role develops and implements strategies and enhancements to improve operating effectiveness through communication, marketing, support to leadership, and partner engagement. This includes the development and management of new and existing programs, success metrics, communication plans, and status reports and updates. To be successful, the ideal candidate requires strong leadership, relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.

How You'll Do It

  • Acts as a liaison between the business and development resources. Manages all aspects of each project. Leads project teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet business needs.
  • Assembles project teams. Aligns roles and responsibilities for all project resources. Ensures project progress is tracked and team members are providing progress updates.
  • Assist with business requirement analyses. Manages project scopes, issues, and risks. Ensures change controls are executed appropriately. Estimate work efforts and manage resources accordingly.
  • Document agendas, meeting minutes, action items, project plans, and issue logs. Communicate statuses to stakeholders.
  • Manages the strategy and execution of collecting Voice of Customer for the Network Operations teams to routinely understand the needs of clients, act upon feedback, and create meaningful goals.
  • Supports client-facing teams and those Partners effectively through operational excellence, enhances partner relationships and satisfaction to increase program growth.
  • Supports and executes the teams integrated communication strategy. Provides executive level visibility, reporting, and communications of the teams work and initiatives.

Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics

  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts, Information Technology, Business Administration and Management, Project Management, Finance, Social Sciences, Continuous Improvement or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions or related
  • In lieu of education, 8+ years in Project Management, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, or related experience

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 8+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Risk Management, Continuous Improvement, Computer Science, Infrastructure Technology Solutions, Communications, Marketing, Operations, or related and applicable areas of experience
  • Payment Services experience / knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Demonstrates creative design skills
  • Excellent relationship management and consultation skills
  • Creative and energetic teammate who embraces change, has desire to continually improve, and contribute new ideas
  • Ability to understand and proactively act on team/leadership needs, and resourceful in finding solutions to business problems
  • Able to work through ambiguity and can thrive with minimal instruction

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
