Accounts Payable Associate (Part-Time)

Summary: Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, the Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for many functions that are part of the Accounts Payable Process

The hourly wage minimum = $20; maximum = $25. The exact pay may vary based on skills, experience, training, licenses/certifications, language necessities, and location.

All applicants need to attach a recent resume. This role is between 20-25 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain vendor information; obtain W-9s, ACH info, OFAC & 501-C checks.
  • Review and input invoices into Accounts Payable module of Prologue for payment approval; code each invoice with the proper vendor ID, general ledger account numbers, cost centers, and amounts.
  • Process vendor payments via check and ACH.
  • Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
  • Respond to inquiries and correspond with vendors, employees and management as needed.
  • Assist with monitoring AP inbox and ensure that new invoices are assigned to a queue for processing.
  • Processing payments in a timely and accurate manner according to company policy.
  • Support team with employee expense reimbursement processing and payments.
  • Assist with Corporate Credit Card expense processing.
  • Other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Accounts Payable experience a plus.
  • Microsoft Excel and Outlook experience a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Highly detail oriented.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Able to work between 20 and 25 hours per week.
