About the team
Dialpad’s Billing team plays a critical role in achieving corporate financial objectives. The billing team is responsible for timely billing, as well as resolving any customer related billing disputes. The Billing team works closely with Deal Desk, Orders & CS teams to make sure that all orders are processed and billed accurately.
Dialpad’s Senior Billing Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the billing team and creating efficiencies to reduce month end billing time . In this role, you’ll provide management with accurate and timely metrics and will work cross functionally to create efficiencies in the current processes. In addition, you will play a key role in the implementation of SuiteBilling.
Your role
As a Senior Billing Manager, you’ll own the billing process from order to invoice including all processes and system improvements. You’ll work closely with the Dealdesk, CS, Sales, Collections & Revenue teams to assist with metrics, goals, and to align on processes.
This position reports to our Senior Manager, Revenue & Billing and has the opportunity to be based in our USA or Canada Office.
What you’ll do [i,e., Responsibilities]
- Manage the Global Billing team located in India, US & Argentina
- Report on billings and other metrics to senior management
- Collaborate with other cross functional business partners such as Collections, Revenue, Deals Desk, Orders, RevOps, CS, Sales, Legal, Product Engineering, IT, Billing Support to improve the billing process and customer experience
- Lead process improvement projects and other system implementation projects related to the billing cycle
Skills you’ll bring [i,e., Qualifications]
- Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of relevant billing experience
- 3+ years of People Management experience
- Extensive Experience in both Enterprise B2B and High Volume B2C Billing
- A Customer Service mindset
- Netsuite & SuiteBilling experience
- Telecommunications industry experience would be a bonus
