Context
The role will be responsible for the day to day management of all warehouse activities in the Export warehouses.

This will include the despatch and receipt of product into the warehouse.

The day to day management and deployment of the warehouse team, task allocation and prioritisation of the overall Logistics inbound and outbound function.

The control of all warehoused stock and so that it is shipped on a FIFO basis.

The control and management of an automated warehouse (full training given)

Liaising with the various departments on site to ensure stock that cannot be shipped immediately is controlled.

To provide support to the outbound Republic of Ireland / Northern Ireland function for a portion of each working day.

Ensure all safety, health; environmental, quality and housekeeping policies and procedures are aligned with in accordance with company requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

Organises Export loading activities including compilation of load plans, liaising with drivers, shipping lines & the ICSC.

Ensures stock is despatched accurately under FIFO rules working with the warehouse staff and warehouse systems to ensure accuracy.

Creates export/movement documentation from SAP and administers the EMCS system as required and in accordance with HMRC requirements.

Ensures that HMRC customs entries for despatch movements are correct and maintained daily.

Counts warehoused stock weekly and reconciles with SAP to the first reconciliation. Works with the warehouse team and the Logistics Team Lead to resolve discrepancies.

Administers, the HMRC destruction of stock on and off site in liaison with team members and the Logistics Team Lead..

Works weekends if required to cover operational needs

To carry out any other duties as directed by the Logistics Team lead and/ or other members of management

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification or relevant accreditation.

Significant experience of working in a FMCG environment despatching of goods.

Well developed PC / administrative skills and attention to detail.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel , Word

Good knowledge of Supply Chain IT and management systems

Resolves problems and conflicts, seeks compromises.

Good knowledge of supply chain principles

Desirable

Working Knowledge of SAP (training will be given)

Experience / knowledge of automated warehousing (training given as required)
