Diageo Treasury is one of the largest Group Treasury functions in Hungary with global oversight in financial risk management for the Diageo Group.
Treasury Operations Team is directly manages 70% of the total Group cash-flow and has coordination responsibilities over the Diageo group cash management - including joint ventures and associates. The team covers the daily cash positioning of Diageo Treasury bank accounts - we have bank accounts in 22 different currencies which we are managing on a daily basis - and the settlement of transactions executed by the Traders. This includes the forecasting, confirmation, payment and reconciliation of various risk management transactions such as foreign currency swaps and forwards, interest rate swaps, money market-, bond-, coupon-, dividend payments and commodities trades.
As a result, in Treasury Operations you will work with a broad range of financial products, be in touch with the largest banks around the world and get insight into Diageo's capital markets and financial risk management activities.
About you
- Successful settlement of risk management transactions.
- Regulatory reporting activities for North America and EU (Dodd-Frank and EMIR).
- Leading bank mandates and signatory lists on behalf of Group Treasury.
- Responsible for reconciliation of Treasury bank accounts and daily deal confirmation status updates.
- Responsible for Treasury Operations related documentation issues.
- Bank statement posting, execution of related tasks.
- Daily confirmation of FX deals.
- Regular deal settlements and payment execution.
- Lead the execution of project payments.
- Liaise with Diageo strategic partner banks.
- Work on issue resolution with Trading and Accounting teams.
What you'll bring
- Degree in the field of Finance and/or Economics.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key partners (experience with contacting banks or any third parties is an advantage).
- Proficient Business English.
- Experience in working with integrated software systems is an advantage (SAP in particular).
- Excellent analytical skills.
- 2-3 years' experience at a multinational company in finance and/or with banking related payments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of various financial instruments is an advantage.
