This role is part of the Digital Transformation team based in Dublin with Digital leaders across Consumer and Customer sectors with a Digital First culture.

What You will Be Doing:
Diageo is committed to enhancing every customer experience through the strategic use of data. The purpose of this role is to enable us to step-change the speed and scale at which we demonstrate data in our consumer, commercial and customer engagements to drive business outcomes.
As the Transformation & Data Lead in Ireland:
- Strategic Data Utilization: Apply solid understanding of data-related challenges (e.g., data quality, maturity, integration) within consumer, customer, and employee contexts. Build a backlog of use cases that support effective prioritization and a transformation roadmap.
- Prioritization & Outcome Alignment: Help create conditions so that business priorities align clearly with needed outcomes.
- Collaborative Partnerships: Partner collaboratively with key stakeholders from Commercial, Supply, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Global Business Operations, and Global Teams to align data initiatives with commercial objectives for agile implementation within market transformation plans.
- Consultancy & Standards Compliance: Support global standards within local market processes by consulting on technology ecosystems and third-party activities. Ensure compliance with data quality standards and governance obligations.
- Commercial Data Leadership: Coordinate complex work related to maintaining, maturing, and transforming how business manages data.
- OKR Implementation: Lead quarterly objectives and key results that have a strong data focus but also leading and supporting objectives and key results on broader Digital transformation initiatives.
- Project Management & Capability Building: Own success through agile project management and change management practices.
- Technology Expertise: Act as a Commercial data expert for Salesforce (Sales & Service) and SAP (Order to Cash) technologies.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all data activities are managed compliantly following Diageo's code.
- Career Progression: This role offers a clear pathway for career advancement, with potential progression to senior positions such as Senior Data Manager or Digital Transformation Manager within 1-2 years, maximising the skills and experiences gained in driving digital transformation and data initiatives.
What You will Have:
- Demonstrated expertise in navigating the data landscape, having spearheaded initiatives with extensive data demands and broad reach.
- Experience developing cross-functional partnerships; ability to communicate complex findings clearly to non-technical partners.
- Self-starter attitude capable of working independently while proactively leading tangible outcomes.
- Demonstrated skill in managing partners and exerting a substantial influence to achieve concrete results.
- Strong industry experience; up-to-date knowledge on great data management/activation practices.
- Experience in Project Management is critical, along with a comprehension of Agile methodologies and Change Management principles.
- Knowledgeable in SAP and Salesforce platforms.
