About the Role:
This role plays a very critical role in the Customer (service) and Cash (inventory) out of our 6Cs agenda. This role operates within the Transformation & Excellence space and partners across Diageo.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
The Supply Planning Analyst is accountable of the following deliverables:
Process Design and Implementation:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced supply chain processes.
- Ensure that new processes align with business objectives and integrate seamlessly within the E2E value chain.
Global Design Improvement:
- Collaborate with the Process Stream Owner to enhance global design and testing
- Find opportunities for continuous improvement in supply planning processes.
Project Execution Support:
- Plan, organise, and implement project streams effectively by providing critical data support.
- Evaluate project outcomes and implement necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
Training Content Development:
- Work with the Training Lead to develop comprehensive training programs that transform detailed content into actionable knowledge.
Go-Live Support:
- Lead customers through go-live and warranty periods ensuring new processes are established and sustained.
- Provide one-on-one training and support to planners transitioning to the new platform.
Obsessed with Adoption:
- Drive structural progress in digital adoption.
- Lead the technical knowledge & capability of the adoption critical metrics.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of Advanced Supply Planning solutions.
- Training Delivery: Provide one-to-one training and support to planners transitioning to the new platform.
- Problem Solving: Lead problem-solving efforts and root cause analysis during the readiness and the warranty periods.
- Process Stream Owner: Collaborate closely to ensure business objectives are met within the E2E value chain.
- Training Lead: Partner to transform detailed content into effective training programs.
- Planning Teams: Ensure understanding of new processes and revised ways of working in priority markets.
- Project Management Team: Contribute as an experienced resource to the Advanced Planning System program timelines.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven track record in collaborating with cross-functional teams, diverse organizations, and achieving great results together.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in finished product and/or material planning.
- Familiarity with and understanding of the end-to-end value chain design.
- Proficiency in advanced planning systems and tools.
- Demonstrated success in project execution and management.
- Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or similar.
- Passion for data. Very strong analytical skills. Digital curiosity, literacy, dexterity.
- Growth Mindset.
- Experience with global design improvement initiatives.
- Experience/Competence in leading go-live support and warranty periods.
- Ability to develop detailed training content. Background in providing one-to-one training and support to planners.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) methodologies.
