Role Dimensions

The Supply Finance Manager - Beer Projects will take a lead role in Diageo's Global beer projects and will lead and handle large-scale CAPEX projects from conception through to implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior management. This role requires strong project management skills combined with solid financial acumen to ensure successful delivery of supply focussed investment cases for Diageo.

Top accountabilities
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Ability to plan and lead project's financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenses. Able to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid disruptions to timelines or budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Understanding of financial documents, cost-benefit analysis, and return on investment (ROI) assessments.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with collaborators, including finance teams, senior management, and external vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact to partners and able to monitor and report project progress, performance and KPIs.
  • Excel and Financial modelling: Advanced level financial modelling. Run scenarios and be able to accurately present outputs of analysis.
  • Report Writing and presentation skills: Crafting clear and detailed financial reports and project updates for partners. Presenting complex financial data and project updates to non-finance partners in an understandable way.

Ideal experiences / Qualifications / capabilities
  • +3-5 years of proven experience in project management, Finance or similar fields
  • Consistent track record of influencing and driving functional leadership teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data-driven insights to a diverse audience.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
  • Strategic problem solver with a proactive approach to identifying business opportunities and challenges.
  • Meticulous with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • CIMA/CA qualified preferred
