Context
This role is responsible for managing various logistics compliance tasks and operational activities at Diageo's Runcorn site. The role encompasses handling excise duty returns, managing import/export documentation, tracking inventory, and ensuring accurate reporting. This position is crucial for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and optimizing logistics operations within the UK.

The role holder will be an integral member of the Logistics Operations Team and will participate in regular audits and compliance checks. This position ensures adherence to standard processes within our onsite 3PL operations and across all logistics activities at the Runcorn site.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Excise Duty Returns W1: Prepare and submit accurately.
  • Samples Customer Paperwork: Manage compliant documentation.
  • MUCRs (Co-loads): Coordinate efficiently.
  • Exp Chief Entries - Undischarged Exports: Maintain up-to-date records.
  • Outstanding ARCs: Track and resolve timely.
  • Closing Import Declarations: Ensure customs compliance.
  • C1601,02,03 Forms: Complete as required for customs.
  • Import/ARC Cancellations: Manage cancellations accurately.
  • CHEP Keg & SP Report: Generate usage reports.
  • 13 Week Encirc Forecast: Develop resource allocation plans.
  • 3PL Production: Co-ordinating and management of production to Warehouse
  • B2B Stock Reconciliation WN1: Perform reconciliations.
  • Aged Stock Report WN1/RUNC: Monitor inventory levels and turnover rates.
  • PK60 Monthly Stock Take: Conduct monthly procedures for accuracy.
  • Miscellaneous Write-Offs Adjustments: Process as needed for financial accuracy.
  • Coupa Routine PO Management / Receipts Reconciliation: Manage purchase orders; reconcile receipts accurately.
  • Interface Workflow messages: Managing errors and resolving issues, CoLOS/ Descartes.
  • QA stock control: Tracking managing stock and working with QA to resolve.
  • Destructions: Co-ordinating and managing Transport/ Destruction plant

Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration preferred.
  • Substantial experience in logistics/supply chain roles
  • Strong understanding of excise duty regulations/customs documentation
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP); familiarity with Coupa/ Negan is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills for report generation
  • Effective communication skills: ability to interact well with partners at various levels -Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
