We are seeking experienced Storehouse Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering best in class customer service and demonstrating a strong passion for working in the hospitality industry. The purpose of the role is to act as a Guinness Ambassador, to be welcoming and engaging with Guinness Storehouse visitors and ensure they receive courteous, friendly, and professional assistance always.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the experience.
  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, and their needs are met efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and effectively, striving for customer satisfaction.


Operations
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants are accountable for Core Standards and the Guinness Storehouse Mystery Visitor Experience.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants are responsible for the delivery of key Interact and Engage activities.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants will tutor visitors in the art of tasting and pouring Guinness; will deliver visitor orientation and other interactive showcase experiences as required. Assistants must be confident at presenting interactive experiences as required.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants will act as Guinness ambassadors during guided tours with media/ VIP's/tour operators/ language schools/ Diageo representatives.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants will be assigned to various teams - Quality, Engagement, EH&S, Team Trainer as the business requires and are expected to represent the business across these teams.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants are responsible for ensuring quality standards and responsible service of alcohol guidelines are adhered to while serving Guinness, as well as back of house quality responsibilities.
  • Guinness Storehouse Assistants must ensure all cash and credit transactions are carried out accurately.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety standards.


Qualifications:
  • Leaving Cert or equivalent
  • Fluent English Speaker, 2nd language highly desirable - French, Spanish, Italian, German, or Chinese
  • Must have experience in public speaking/entertaining/performing.
  • Must have 1 years' experience working with customers face to face in hospitality/ tourism/bars.
