What about the role?
We're looking for a Senior Foreign Trade Specialist in HQ office in Istanbul. The role reports to International Logistics & Warehouse Manager.
The role will ensure that export operations and Duty-Free export operations are carried out smoothly, just in time and at the most cost-effective cost. To oversee the production of export sales, its logistics and customs procedures from its preparation.
What you will be doing?
- Forwarding incoming Export & DF orders to factory and production departments and to follow and direct preparation processes
- Ensuring that materials and products are ready for the day of shipment in export orders in coordination with the Production/Operation/Purchasing departments and the export warehouse of the factory.
- Taking the necessary actions to eliminate any delays in loadings by working in coordination with the warehouse and logistics company.
- Preparing duty free import orders with the Budapest team and carrying out the process of delivery to the customer
- Supporting the Export & Duty-Free role, which carries out the timely preparation of the documents in coordination with the accounting department for invoice issuing, the customs company working together for customs documents.
- Carring out the logistics operation of POS materials prepared for Export &DF in coordination with Warehouse and Export& Duty-Free role in a timely manner.
- Preparing weekly shipments to be delivered to the export warehouse and operations department.
- Preparing duty free import orders with the Budapest team and carrying out the process of delivery to the customer
What we are looking for
- University Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of practical logistics and export / import operations experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Fast learner
- Strong teamwork and time management skills with ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with SAP
Key Stakeholders:
- Central Planning Team and Central Logistics & Warehouse team.
- Bonded warehouse,
- Suppliers (shipping lines, freight forwarders, custom brokers, warehouse operators)
Location: Istanbul. This full-time role includes hybrid working system.
