Purpose of Role:

The Commercial Finance Analyst for Open Division is a foundational member of the commercial finance organization. You will be a finance business partner for commercial and distributor organization working closely with Division Commercial Finance Director and Commercial Finance Managers as well as central finance functions.

Finance business partner roles are at the heart of the Finance Operating Model, providing valuable guidance and support to the organization. The role will support the Open Division performance agenda, supporting trade spend planning, volume forecasting and allocation and ensuring a robust control and risk management environment within the division. You will also bring to bear global finance processes, standards, teams, systems and data to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Support business divisions and functions to drive business performance through the provision of financial / commercial insights, while supporting the delivery of the trade spend agenda and maintaining an effective control environment. Support ad hoc finance strategy initiatives through strong analytics and insights.

Top accountabilities:
  • Deliver all metrics of the financial plan including P&L, cash delivery and balance sheet for their area of responsibility
  • Support market trade spend management - business partnering, forecasting, systems maintenance, budget management
  • Partner with teams in Budapest and Bangalore to complete month end and hard close trade spend processes
  • Provide support in execution business strategy and converting strategies into annual operating plans with recommended prioritization.
  • Support the performance management process to ensure delivery of all metrics. This includes gap identification, appraisal and approval of measures to improve performance outcomes.
  • Identify business opportunities, risks and initiatives and provide standard process financial analysis and insights to support decision making.
  • Find opportunities to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of all finance activities.

Qualifications and experienced required:
  • Finance or Accounting bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a global FMCG or similar multifaceted operating environment and demonstrating commercial competence
  • Budget management experience a must
  • Delivery of a financial business partner model in a global
