About the role:
The Analytics & Insights team is currently looking for a Senior Data Analyst (Secondment) in the Finance Value Stream.
Top responsibilities of the role
1.Analyst (BA) responsibilities in the product team
- Have a great understanding on existing reporting solutions (tools and data sources) to ensure that these are used and re-used in the most effective way by Finance reporting teams
- Support Product Manager by prioritizing business requirements
- Align with stakeholders to educate them about the tool, and understand their business requirements
2.Adopt Finance process knowledge and strengthen DA&I products
- Build on existing Finance domain knowledge and translate requirements into technical tasks
- Understand and navigate key ERP systems (SAP ECC, CRM, APO), Business Intelligence suites (MS BI, Microstrategy), Data warehouses (SAP BW, Atlas, M-Power, regional DWs) and Other internal / externally managed softwares.
- Understanding the Finance data sets to create reports with business sense
3.Sustain and support BAU activities
- Continuously deliver exceptional reporting, analysis & decision support services, working with respective business counterparts to identify opportunities to drive business outcomes.
4.Actively support the Product Manager in ensuring the assigned A&I tools generate maximum value for business users
- Prioritize high-value development tasks
- Ensure high user engagement with the respective tools through tracking, training and interacting with user base.
- Create ad-hoc reporting for product manager on engagement-related KPIs
5.Coordinate Project Voyager-related remediation efforts within assigned product team
- Be present on various Voyager meetings with a proactive and critical mindset.
- Assist product manager in planning and coordinating Voyager remediation efforts.
- Communicate with Project Voyager stakeholders effectively
6.Compliance
- Comply with all controls and governance requirements at all times
Desired experience:
- 3+ years working experience/study in Finance or Digital&Technology (preferably within the field of data analytics)
- Strong Finance domain knowledge and reporting experience is seen as a key success factor for this role
- Experience using SAP
- Experience working with Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Azure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skillset (working with a variety of global functions, markets, and external partners)
- Experience working with developers in an agile framework
- Analytical mind-set
- Proactive monitoring and sense of finding potential risks
- Process improvement mind-set
- Ability to work and make decisions independently and meet deadlines, set priorities
