ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role you will be part of the Eastern European Brand Marketing Team at Diageo and report directly into the Head of Marketing - Beer, White Spirits & Captain Morgan.

You will be acting as the guardian of your assigned brand(s) or category ensuring to be culture-forward: participating with KOL's in the places, at the moments which intersect with what consumers care about.

You have to work on powerful ideas to earn consumer advocacy: causing consumers to talk to other consumers about the brand voluntarily, with culture first, earned approach.

Ensure that culture strategy are driving relevancy in the activated countries while respecting the brand's DNA.

Due to the structural setup of the region, you will be closely working with Distributor Partners across 30+ markets with dedicated professionals and diverse teams both internally and externally.

Top Accountabilities
  • Shape and influence our brand and category cultural plans to deliver category growth by ensuring our brands create real connections with consumers in culture at scale.
  • Lead the agenda in setting the cultural strategies, partnering with agencies to identifying the cultural opportunity spaces, shape the cultural narratives, joined up with brilliant media plans.
  • Develop, own, and nurture a strong influencer network for the brand across countries.
  • Build and own the strategic construct of cultural calendars for the brand regionally & locally - alignment with senior partners.
  • Lead & orchestrate Local tentpole moments in culture including identifying / designing, leading, and executing events. Amplify Global & Europe Tentpole Moments with the highest return on investment.
  • Guarantee the amplification of all activation for local impact and consistency.
  • Lead robust M&E (measurement & evaluation) conversations, transform data into insights and share clear takeaways across the team.
  • Develop toolkits, driving exceptional standards of execution locally.
  • Work with the Brand manager/s and Digital manager/s to ensure our experience is truly 360 and data driven in planning, execution and amplification
  • Facilitate effective engagement with partners and internal Diageo teams, adeptly guiding individuals through a collaborative and purposeful journey.


ABOUT YOU
  • 7+ years experience with strong evidence that you have created breakthrough plans and results by building brands in culture
  • Experience in PR/Communications/Culture/Brand management roles are considered as a plus
  • You are constantly curious about trends & consumers; have a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and culture
  • A strong teammate who enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. Always ready to roll-up your sleeves and get things done
  • Demonstrated brilliant execution to impeccably high standards
  • Deep personal accountability for great performance
