The Commercial Systems team maintains Diageo's commercial and financial systems and work in partnership with the markets to improve the end-to-end processes and systems, in order to drive simplification, standardization, and in order to increase productivity. The role will develop a good understanding of the end-to-end business processes, commercial systems and with give a good understanding of the underlying business functions and their operation.

About the role

The role reports to the Commercial Systems Manager, who is reporting to the Head of Sell to Cash Europe within the E2E Commercial Tower. The team works closely with several business partners including Commercial Finance, Sales, Supply, Financial Control, Marketing, and the various IS stakeholders (Enterprise Operation, TCS, Infosys, Diageo Bangalore, etc.).

Purpose of Role

The role provides business insight and analytical rigor to support and challenge the delivery of our financial and commercial targets by working closely with stakeholders across the main markets. Holding people to account in order to deliver successful results. Ensure to have smooth and successful delivery of the short - and long-term plans relating to commercial systems. Ensure that the system, performance promise is kept, and the related processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, on time and in line with the control requirements. This role gives great visibility to senior management and allows the individual to grow.

TOP 3-5 ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Maintenance of the commercial/financial systems. Deliver user acceptance trainings and testing when required
  • Enable efficient processes and smooth operation.
  • Generate insight, provide analysis for business decision. Drive standardization and improvements
  • Work in line with the control requirements
  • Perform any additional commercial / financial system related task as per Line Manager's request


What you'll bring

• Preferably 1-2 years of experience in FMCG sector.

• Excellent coordination, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills

• Personal aim to take ownership and deliver solutions and results

• Ability to work independently and in teams - essential

• Experience in working with integrated systems (SAP, BW, CRM, Anaplan ...) - desirable

• MS Office (MS Excel, Outlook are crucial). High level of Excel usage

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with high accuracy

• Excellent business English

• Hard working, fast learning personality, flexibility, inquisitiveness, proactivity

• Results orientated and capable of working in a flexible working environment. Self- driven.

Flexible Working options
  • Standby and / or work during national holidays and weekends might be occasionally required
  • overtime or flexible working hours may be required around key reporting periods or market migrations (based on a prior agreement).
  • The jobholder may be taught by their immediate superior to perform all tasks directly or indirectly related, additional, or supplementary to the scope of duties defined in this role profile.
