About The Role
Diageo Netherlands is part of Diageo Northern Europe: a cluster consisting of Benelux, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland & Nordics. It is a diverse and exciting business with local and global customers operating across on-trade, off trade and RTM. Your role will focus on a Dutch Market region across On Trade, Off Trade, and Cash Carry. In this role, you will get the chance to work in multiple channels, and this ensures that you will rapidly learn about the industry Diageo operates in!

Responsibilities Include
Distribution and Sales driver execution/activation
- Focus on the sell-in of Diageo portfolio and brand activations at current and new business partners.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and match these to specific Diageo propositions
- Analysing the performance of activations in venues and stores
- Visiting hybrid sales channels stores for implementing in-store activations, tastings, and other agreements between Diageo and its partners
Being a (sales) professional
- Seeking new business opportunities in the on-trade and off-trade in partnership with colleagues
- Strong ownership of the day-to-day customer relationship efficiency through structured brand/solution sell-in, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills
Operational excellence in execution and efficiency
- Structured, organized, efficient planning, personal ownership, and clear communication skills with internal and external partners
- Operating with a clear set of priorities, adjusting for opportunities and obstacles
- Ability and confidence to make the informed recommendations required to ensure activities are efficiently delivered and adjusted/course-corrected as required

Experience Required/skills/capabilities/languages
- At least a year of professional experience in a commercial role, preferably in FMCG
- Existing understanding of the spirits market or high interest and passion for our products
- Structured, take pride in delivering on time, and always looking for solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, open personality, dedication, an excellent teammate
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Driver's license B (NL)
