Role Overview

This role is responsible for supporting Diageo's key compensation programmes including our Strategic Pay Review, our Annual Reward Cycle, Compensation Benchmarking and other Global Compensation Programs.

Key Responsibilities

Work with the Head of Global Compensation Programs and support the design process of Diageo's Strategic Pay Review which ensures fair & competitive pay for all employees, and establishes our targeted investment in base pay.
  • Lead Diageo's Annual Reward Cycle which is our annual salary/merit and annual bonus planning process in partnership with the Global Reward Operations team. Collaborate with reward teams across regions to drive consistency in application of reward principles. Develop communication materials to support the reward cycle. Help prepare summary report for review and approval.
  • Run Diageo's Annual Benchmarking Exercise in partnership with the Global Reward Operations team. Guide regions on benchmarking principles.
  • Contribute to Global Compensation Projects and drive rollout of global compensation programmes across Diageo's markets in partnership with regional reward teams.
  • Working from the center of excellence and serving as the subject matter expert, this role will bring continuous improvement to the design, delivery, and governance of assigned global projects, programs, and processes. Partner with regional reward teams to adapt global programs to local needs while maintaining overall consistency.
  • Monitor program effectiveness and recommend improvements as needed.
  • This is a highly visible role that will have frequent interaction with the Market Reward leadership team across the globe.


Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation management within a global organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).
  • Project management skills with a proven track record of managing complex projects across multiple geographies preferred.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships within the organization.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
