The team
The Reporting Operations CoE team was established to lead the "operations of reporting" and ensure our reporting and planning processes work like clockwork. The Reporting Operations CoE Team is the body to safeguard and centrally govern the changes to Diageo's planning and reporting systems (BPM, Anaplan Staff and Non-Staff, Core, OnR and Bonus accrual tools) streamline and harmonize related processes, data structure month by month with GPO ensuring a timely and accurate reporting for FC and FP&A, enabling the delivery of high quality internal outputs as well as working closely with Group FP&A/RFC governing the month actual, OnR and plan reporting via change management, closing schedule and related global instructions.

The role
The role will require a wide variety of skills to define and deliver governance around reporting processes, identify where existing processes need to be modified, incorporate the required changes and support the markets and functions to embed the process. The role holder will also provide professional support and act as functional lead to the FP&A GPO. Relation to global initiatives is strong, will have to link in with various Project Teams to have a greater understanding of the reporting solution being built.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the Reporting Systems Business Owner to design and maintain BSN structure and keep functioning through weekly/bi-weekly/monthly meetings, e-mails, sharing best practices and maintaining the knowledge base
- Providing Regular review of BSN network. Engaging with the BSN Network Community and ensuring that roles are filled on time and the new BSN members are appropriately trained
- Supporting Reporting Systems Business Owner in market roll-out from BSN/user perspective by providing training. Engage BSNs and integrate them into the BSN community
- Acting as a one single communication source with the mentorship of the Reporting Systems Business Owner (Month-end Instruction, Yammer and LP messages)
- Supporting the BSN Central Lead in designing access management rules
- Approving, reviewing and maintaining access rights
- Preparing health check on tool usage and generates insights on enabled user base, active users, user habits, their access levels and report availability on a periodic basis for the Regional & Market Leads, project people and senior partners
- Landing page and Yammer group maintenance: keep contents up to date
- Working with Reporting Systems Business Owner on training material creation and maintenance
- Delivering refresher training for existing users/markets, BSN members
- Delivering trainings on new functionalities/reports/rollouts.
- Communicating incidents, sprint deployments, changes, news, supporting materials, help cards via LP, mails, market/BSN calls
About you
- University/College degree in Finance/ Financial accounting / Controlling
- 4-5 years of experience, ideally within FMCG or SSC environment
- Functional expertise in one or more of the reporting processes of Diageo finance and finance systems processes and procedures (RTR, Financial reporting, Management reporting, RTR/In market/Group perspective of the close process)
- Solid understanding of Diageo transactional and reporting system (SAP, BFC, BPM, BW)
- Ability to identify and deliver solutions, tackle barriers and positively galvanise others around you
- Attention to detail and phenomenal analytical skills
- Ability to communicate findings in a concise manner, putting forward next actions to change the norm
- Proficient English knowledge and interpersonal skills
