About the role
Our manufacturing sites of Leven Processing and Santa Vittoria (Italy) play a meaningful role in the success of the Category and maintaining our licence to operate in these areas is a critical requirement for our success.
The Quality Coordinator will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing key procedures that will allow you to make a lasting impact on end to end product quality, food safety and customer concerns.
The role holder will also be key player and owner of the internal quality audit program which includes carrying out GMP's GRMS and SQIP audits.

Key responsibilities will be;
- Lead / support the investigations of quality non-conformances quickly and effectively to minimise impact utilising DMIAC methodology, 5WHY, Fishbone and 8D principles
- Leads / supports robust continuous improvement plans relating to customer complaints, quality non-conformance and site audits
- Support the implementation of the Quality AOP for the site / site group
- Root cause and escape point analysis
- Support activity in relation to ISO 9001 and FSSC22000 requirements
- Focus on inspection and disgorge activity to drive inventory reduction
About You
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactive structured problem-solving skills with a focus on corrective and preventative actions.
Previous roles in an FMCG environment with knowledge of quality processes or proven experience in a quality discipline in other industries would elevate your application.
You should be continually looking to develop and drive a zero-defect culture with an emphasis on compliance, Health & Safety, and Food Safety standards, while understanding site regulatory requirements and internal policies, mentoring others to develop their understanding.
Implement corrective action plans where required to provide permanent solutions relating to end of line defects or consumer complaints.
Interpretation and handling of data to make fact-based process quality decisions leading to trends analysis and improvement opportunities throughout the hall.
To be successful in this role, you will need;
- Experience in a technical or quality support function is preferred
- Appreciation of ISO Quality Management and FSSC22000 systems
- Experience of SAP (or MRP systems), Quality system (Infinity QS, Harford, Pinnacle) would be beneficial
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Relevant IBD qualification (General Certificate in Spirits/Beer Packaging) or willing to complete within 12 months
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with key stakeholders
