About the role
As a Quality Control Analyst across our Leven and Cameronbridge sites, you'll be responsible for supporting production by providing a timely and accurate service to ensure product quality, process efficiency and service in all areas, from raw material to final product.
Health and Safety is key in this role and you'll play a significant part in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues and others
The labs operate on a 24/7 basis and the successful candidate will be required to work rotating shift patterns.
You will be responsible for:
- Carrying out a broad range of analysis and interpretations and acting on results.
- The acceptance of raw materials and ingredients, including their quality.
- Working in line with operating procedures to ensure all hazards/risks are managed and reported.
- Release of final product based on quality.
- Leading process and quality corrective actions and any subsequent sign off for those actions
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- HNC, HND or degree in chemistry or related subject area.
- A minimum of 2 years lab experience preferably in an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to all levels across the plant.
- Ability to organise a variety of tasks and prioritise self and others accordingly.
