About the role

We are delighted to share that we have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our dedicated team at Bailey's Nangor Road, Dublin.

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a pivotal role ensuring that all manufactured goods are produced according to quality specifications and compliant with government regulations and standards.

You'll have a proven record in root cause problem solving and be able to highlight this to respective teams to ensure continuous improvement across the site.

You'll be responsible for monitoring and interpreting all analytical, chemical & microbiological tests and making sure all plant equipment is calibrated and maintained whilst ensuring quality checks are carried out in an appropriate and timely manner.

To be successful in this role, we're looking for someone who:

• Degree in a food science or an equivalent qualification and relevant experience
• Can drive positive improvements, problem solve and communicate effectively across all levels with confidence and honesty
• An excellent team player and be able to prioritise your own workload while demonstrating flexibility and using initiative whilst under pressure.
• Holds strong interpersonal and leadership skills with an ability to communicate with all levels and departments across the site
• Can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems

Shifts

This role requires you to work 38 hours per week and will require you to work a shift pattern alternating days and back shifts. The shift working hours are 7am to 4pm and 3pm to 12 midnight.
