Location: Shieldhall, Glasgow

Role Type: Full-Time & Permanent

Shift Pattern: 0700 to 1900 Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Closing date: 9th December

  • The largest packaging site in our Scotch category
  • Supply of circa 30 million cases of our iconic brands globally from Shieldhall with household names and global leaders like Johnnie Walker, Buchanan's, Bell's, J&B Scotch Whisky.
  • Comprises 7 production lines, a spirit supply operation, multiple other dry and wet component areas, and circa 400 people.
  • The team is a mix of energetic, dynamic, diverse talent with plenty of learning and growth opportunities internally.

Top Accountabilities -
  • Bring strong leadership on shift and with your team.
  • Implement continuous improvement culture, supporting all Manufacturing Excellence standards and practices.
  • Coaching a multi-disciplinary team of production operators and engineers to develop them as individuals and as a team to lead a step change in engagement.
  • Delivery of balanced business scorecard results in area to drive performance.
  • Ownership of medium to long term strategy for their area including CapEx and investment proposals to support productivity and performance improvement in line with the business strategy.
  • Day-to-day accountabilities, responsibilities and ownership of all "run" the business activities. Support, create and develop "improve" activities.

  • Responsible for line production, team management and engagement throughout tier structure
  • Managing a team of Equipment Owners, Operators and Engineers.
  • Using your skills and passion to drive a continuous improvement culture where people are highly engaged,
