Context

This specific role of the Material Scheduler is to ensure we always have materials available in line with our production plans for the Leven site.

Purpose:

To ensure dry goods components are available at appropriate production area in line with production plan, taking into account storage capacity constraints and vehicle unloading capacity constraints.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure components are on site to cover production line requirements
• Arrange timed deliveries of components into site in line with Stores Areas unloading matrices - ensure Stores Teams know what is coming in and when
• Monitor component demand v stock for imminent weeks 1-3 plan and ensure demand does not move into fixed production plan if comps not available
• Brand Change activity - component rundowns/ introduction of new components
• Management of non-BOM sundry comp ordering

Qualifications and Experience

• Computer literate - Proficient in mainframe material management systems, Microsoft packages and internet applications
• Demonstrates variety of communication skills
• High degree of numerical proficiency and attention to detail
• Problem solving and issue resolution
• Ability to work on own initiative and proactive decision maker
• Strength to challenge where appropriate and accept being challenged
