About the Role
The Market Planning Team Leader is a key people Leadership role within the European Planning and Logistics organization. As part of the Global PLAN organisation, we are on a journey to World Class planning and you will be responsible for the following:
- Europe P&L to lead in Supply Chain Planning methodologies to deliver Diageo's performance ambition
- Optimised supply chain leadership, decision making and support to our Global Markets, Supply Sites, Procurement and Spirit Supply
- Overall ownership of designated Market's Shipment Requirements, Production response and Inventory strategies to deliver our Sales ambition
- A strong ambassador for our Diageo Markets within Global Supply
Role Responsibilities
This specific role of the Market Planning Team Leader is to lead, coach and inspire a team of Market Planners to successfully deliver product availability service goals, whilst optimising Supply Chain costs and inventory management of finished goods.
This role has direct reports and you will partner with Supply Chain Directors, GBS Categories, Brand Teams, Technical, MAKE, MOVE and Supply Finance.
It is crucial that you have the ability to lead and maintain great relationship with a variety of key stakeholders and can adapt their style to suit a diverse customer base, stakeholders and team members.
Experience / skills required
- To be successful in role you will have experience working in Supply Chain planning with a proven track record including demand and supply network planning.
- You will have a strong understanding of end to end supply chain operational processes, and have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- It is essential that you have experience with planning systems.
