Reports To: Global Reward Operations Senior Manager

Context/Scope: Global HR Operations is Diageo's HR Shared Service and has service centers (first point) based in Budapest, Nairobi, and Bangalore that support all markets. Additionally, it has a central Reward Operations team based in Bangalore and London that supports the Global Reward Processes.

A) Financial: Provide data and logistical processes that enable the business to optimally handle salary, stock and bonus budgets which are multi-million-pound investments.

b) Market Complexity: Engage Globally with HR BPs, Reward teams, Executive Reward, senior Line Managers, Diageo IS and HR Process Governance, People Data Governance

Drive/lead a process improvement and simplification agenda for Reward processes and technologies. Responsible for handling the daily operation of the team. Deputize for the Global Reward Operations Manager.

Purpose of Role: The Global Reward Operations Analyst will handle and apply defined logic to operate the inflow of data and reporting outputs of the new Statistical modeling tool, to enable data-driven judgment and decisions relating to compensation processes.

Top Accountabilities:

Lead, operate and provide support for the compensation analysis and Statistical Modelling tool (including developing a basic understanding of factors influencing pay)

Customise and handle data flow into the system

Lead the Reporting features and share appropriate reports with the HR customers

Guide customers on the appropriate reports that can be used and help them interpret the reports

Provide appropriate training if required

Handle the governance of the tool used in Analysis

Partner with the vendor on tool implementation and maintenance

Align with company's compensation strategy and follow reporting regulations

Skills, qualifications and experience required

• A good understanding of standard methodology HR processes & data.

• Strong analytical/numerical and problem-solving skills.

• Methodical, logical, organized and flexible approach to work.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Advanced MS Excel Skills

• Data and Process mapping skills and experience.

• Experience of extracting and manipulating data from different data sources and balancing that data.

• Excellent communication, influencing & customer leadership skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, prioritize own workload and take ownership of problems.

• Good understanding of Statistical concepts such as regression etc.

Work in close partnership with the Global Reward Operations Manager to further standardize processes and policies

Barriers to Success in Role

• Inability to work under tight schedules and pressure

• Inflexibility on role and responsibilities

• Ineffective planning and prioritization of activities (considering the breadth of the scope and the relatively limited resources we have)

• Lack of attention to detail

• Ineffective customer engagement and management of relationships

• Inability to transform analyses into value insights related to our business priorities
