About the role
The i-IBP Digital Transformation Training Lead is a key role within the i-IBP digital transformation programme. Reporting to i-IBP Capability and Comms Lead, the OMP Training Lead will provide training leadership and OMP Demand planning systems training expertise as we implement Diageo's global demand planning solution.
This program will drive a ground-breaking transformation of our IBP and Demand Planning processes, systems and organisation. This is not just a technical deployment of a new technology but a renewal/upscaling program, so building end user capability is pivotal to a successful outcome, adoption and a sustainable future solution.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Working in partnership with the i-IBP Advanced Demand Planning Platform Lead & the Demand Planning and IBP Process Owners, the i-IBP Digital Transformation Training Lead will:
- Build a comprehensive suite of training materials that will prepare end users to run the new Planning processes via the new platform including evaluation for users for a License to Operate in the system
- Build and own a robust training delivery plan for super users and end users
- Working alongside the Process Owner workstreams, deliver process & solution (key stroke level) training to ensure end user capability is built
- Supervise and track User attendance for all training events
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and make necessary improvements.
- Maintain and update training documentation, user guides, and FAQs to reflect system changes and best practices.
- Maintain user qualification at target
- Track User adoption and training success through critical metrics and reporting
- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices in demand planning, and technological advancements related to OMP systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Demand Planning gained through operational roles and delivering demand forecasting improvement programmes
- Extensive experience in building capability/delivering training across different geographies & cultures & learning styles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, team player, agile and resilient
- Self-starter, takes initiative to get results
- Experience on transformational programmes, ideally in Supply Chain/Demand Planning/IBP processes and with a technology enablement component
- Great at building relationships and being a natural communicator
- Able to deal with ambiguity and unstructured problems.
