About you:
  • We're looking for a technician or Engineering leader with a high electrical skill for leading renewable energy, with an aim to be the best and to lead and coordinate the activities of the electrical equipment's for the agave process.
  • Focus to make sustainability improvements with the use of alternative energies, who can chip in their passion, leadership and knowledge to support the technician team and suppliers, to coordinate them and monitoring of objectives, adding to the effort of the plant team to achieve high performance, in order to deliver our goals with 0 accidents and drive sustainability inclusion and diversity, in our mission to be the leader in the Tequila industry from Plant to Glass.

About the role:
  • Handle and review a specialized electrical supplier like an extended technical team, and support to do correctly all the maintenance activities, ensuring that work respecting the agreed safety and quality guidelines, supervising performance, and delivering results.
  • Leads the execution of the major maintenance plan assigned. Ensure the availability of electrical supply.
  • Run and Control Main electrical distributions, generation, and consumption up to 7.5 MW, 60 Hz, 1250 Amp.
  • MV: Medium Voltage 13,200 V / 23,400 V
  • LV: Low Voltage 440, 220, 110 VAC
  • Operate and handle maintenance of MV Switchgear, Transformer and HMI

Operate and lead maintenance of:
  • MV Diesel Generator (2,000 kVA)
  • CHP (Combinate Heat & Power), and HMI
  • MV / LV and MDB Main distribution boards in modular switch-rooms.
  • Lightning and surge protection perform to the IEC 61024-1, IEC61312-1 standards.
  • Transformers 2000 kVA
  • Align with Mexican regulation of SENER, SEMADET, CRE & Código de Red.
  • Operate HMI strategy to select different power supply configurations in the event of a power outage in different Scenarios operating DE Power Main Control Panel. There will be 8no. supply options available.
  • Implements and follows HSE guidelines. Provides technical advice and advice on Diageo's way of working.
  • Take part in investment projects from the definition to implementation and start-up.
  • Lead technical meetings and with engineering & sustainability department support the Innovation agenda.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Language native Spanish and advance English level is needed.
  • Engineering bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in Electrical High / Medium Voltage
  • Communication skills to interact with technicians, suppliers, and operations.
  • People Management and partnership.
  • Software MS Office, MS Project, SAP PM.
  • Interpretation of mechanical and electrical drawings. General knowledge to control PLC, HMI, VFDs.
  • Focus and use problem solving tools.
  • Lead and control special equipment's.
  • Main Distribution boards

  • Transmission, Self-supply, Mexico main electrical grid,
  • Diesel Generators

  • Lead of electrical distribution (power, lighting, contacts, lightning rods, electronic ground, protection coordination, short circuit, medium voltage, critical systems).
  • NOM-001-SEDE-2012 Knowledges
  • Calculations of currents, voltage drops and protections.
  • Electrical installations drawing and design.
  • Establish programs and energy savings Proactive, Responsible, and committed. Good manufacturing practices.
