Following the recent changes in legislation on the Fair Pay (Equal Pay, Adequate Wage/Living Wage, Pay Ratio etc.) and Pay transparency (Career and Reward (including Compensation and benefits transparency) globally, there is a need from the organizations to look at both elements holistically and with integrated approach. The implications of those requirements, goes beyond the geographies and local impact and influence global reward practices to continue to attract, retain and engage the best talents.

The new way of looking at the Fair Pay and Pay transparency goes beyond compliance, it's a strategic advantage.
The Head of Fair Pay and Pay Transparency will lead the Reward stream for CSRD and be responsible to define the principles and develop methodologies, building and overseeing the reporting capabilities and the respective system requirements, while ensuring creating the commonalities with Pay Transparency requirements, ensuring Diageo's full compliance with the respective regulations (external) and leading the change management (internal).
This role involves close collaboration with various functions and orchestrate the works between them, including HR, Legal, Finance, Supply, I&D & ESG to ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements related to fair pay and pay transparency.

Accountabilities
- Manage the process to evaluate and act on the Fair Pay requirement across Diageo (Pay Equity, Adequate/ Living Wage, Pay Ratio, CSRD etc)
- Work closely with SMEs and Market Reward teams to define the key elements to be considered under the Fair Pay. Understand the regulations and requirements, country reward packages to be able to reflect the right elements on the analysis.
- Understand the EU Pay directive and the country level requirements to ensure that they were reflected in an alignment within the CSRD requirements.
- Build the process documentation and reporting capabilities while working closely with GBO and oversight the data quality.
- Understand the data requirements in the HR systems, both for compensation & benefit data, to ensure the reporting capabilities. Together with D&T & respective SMEs, assess any additional system requirements (specially for benefits). Validate how to best consider non-workday countries data collection and integration on the reporting.
- Run pay gap analysis for pay transparency, on priority in the EU countries, but also beyond Europe, and assess the impact globally (i.e. Pay Range/C/R, Overall pay gap, pay of peers, pay equity/gap etc.)
- Understand the refreshed work architecture and its impact on the CSRD analysis and Pay transparency - specially on the career transparency principles.
- Develop the communication and change management plans including stakeholder analysis, sr. leadership engagement and employee communications.
- Work closely and supervise the external vendors and consultants to ensure that programs are delivered on time with high quality.
- Collaborate with various Reward SME's to integrate other projects, Market Rewards and GBO for assessment, data analysis, finding solutions and implementation of the programs, and x-functional teams (Employee Relations, D&T, Legal, ESG) to ensure seamless execution of plans.
Experience and Skills Required
- 8+ Years Relevant Experience in HR, total rewards, compensation, and benefits.
- Regulatory Skill: Ability to understand and translate relevant regulations in the market is a must. Ability to hold discussions with Law, Consultants and ESG groups.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to derive insights from data is vital. Strong problem-solving skills to make informed decisions based on quantitative and qualitative information.
- Program Management.: Advanced project management skills as it consistent multiple different teams and connect the dots with different projects.
- Consulting and Influencing Skills: Advanced consultative skills to influence partners and inspire change.
- Effective Communication: Balancing active listening with persuasive communication is key. Ability to convey opinions and recommendations effectively.
- Holistic Understanding of HR: Understanding the component parts of HR and how rewards is linked to wider strategy and programs.
- Hard-Working: Strong self-starter, eager to learn and see assigned projects through to successful completion.
- Social Skills: Forming relationships with key partners within business functions and the HR team.
- Tech-Savvy: Fair understanding of Workday and data bases, Understanding of Benefits platforms.
- Language Proficiency: Being fluent in English (both verbally and in writing).
